The Thunder Bay Police Service continues to investigate a recent incident involving a firearm that led to a male being injured.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers were first notified of the possible firearm incident just after 3 p.m. on Friday, March 26 after the injured adult male attended the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre for treatment.
An investigation led police to a residential address in the 200 block of Cumming Street. At approximately 10:30 p.m. police efforts to secure the scene and identify persons involved with the incident concluded.
The scene has since been released, but members off the TBPS’s Major Crimes Unit continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding this incident. There is no known concern for public safety in connection with this incident.
The injured male sustained serious injuries, but they are not believed to be life-threatening.
