Thunder Bay Police Service officers have charged two suspects connected to a series of break-in and thefts to businesses across the city.
The break-ins took place between Jan. 6 and Feb. 11, 2019. Police looked into 12 separate incidents and were able to identify three suspects. Two suspects have been arrested and charged while a third remains at large.
Police were able to execute two search warrants relating to these incidents as a result of the ongoing investigation by members of the service’s uniform patrol and community response team divisions.
Gary Paul Townsend, 31, of Thunder Bay, has been charged with:
• Breaking, Entering and Committing x 7
• Probation Order: Non-Compliance x 10
• Theft Under $5,000 x 2
• Possession of Credit Card
• Fraud Under $5,000
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
• Disguise With Intent
• Mischief Over $5,000
• Mischief Under $5,000
Cody Alexander EWING-MILLARD, 26, of Thunder Bay has been charged with:
• Breaking, Entering and Committing
More charges are pending for both suspects.
Both accused are in custody with court appearances scheduled for today.
Police have identified a third suspect who remains at large. Police urge that suspect to turn themselves immediately.
