The Special Investigations Unit has concluded their investigation into an incident involving a Thunder Bay Police Service officer that occurred in April 2023.
The Thunder Bay Police Service is aware that the investigation has resulted the officer being criminally charged.
The officer has been placed on administrative duties while the legal process remains ongoing.
The Thunder Bay Police Service will make no further comment on this incident since it is now a matter before the courts.
