Police have arrested a pair of individuals accused of committing a violent assault last month.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers were dispatched to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on Monday, April 28, after receiving a report that an adult male victim was present with injuries that were suspected to have been caused by an assault.
The victim's injuries were considered serious but not life threatening.
Investigators with the Major Crimes Unit became involved in the investigation.
The investigation led to two suspects being identified.
Lance DEPERRY, 46, was arrested by Break and Enter and Robbery (BEAR) Unit officers on Tuesday, May 6.
Francesco MUZZI, 40, was arrested by BEAR Unit officers on the morning of Wednesday, May 7.
Both accused individuals are charged with Aggravated Assault.
The accused individuals appeared in court and have been remanded into custody with future appearance dates.
