Police are continuing to investigate a north-side assault that occurred last weekend.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers responded to the 300 block of Wentworth Crescent shortly before 5:30 a.m. on Sunday, October 6, after receiving reports of an assault.
An adult male victim was located at the scene. The male was transported to hospital for assessment and treatment of injuries that have been determined to be serious but not life threatening.
The Major Crime Unit is involved in the investigation, which has led to one individual being arrested.
Joshua Bradley Armond BURN, 23, is charged with Aggravated Assault and Breach of a Release Order.
The accused appeared in court and has been remanded into custody with a future appearance date.
The investigation remains ongoing.
