Police arrested a woman after a vehicle was stolen and then crashed into Lake Superior.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers with the Primary Response Branch were dispatched to an area of the city's waterfront on the afternoon of Thursday, October 31 after receiving reports that a stolen vehicle had been driven to that location.
Officers responded to an area of Clavet Street, finding a pickup truck that had been driven into the water and was partially submerged.
A female suspect was located and arrested.
Abigail MOONIAS, 23, of Thunder Bay, is charged with Theft of a Motor Vehicle, Mischief over $5,000, and Impaired Operation of a Vehicle.
The accused appeared in court on Friday, November 1.
