The Thunder Bay Police Service is requesting public assistance in identifying a suspect connected to the recent armed robbery of a convenience store.
TBPS officers with the Uniform Patrol Branch were dispatched to the Circle K store at 1315 Arthur Street East just after midnight on Tuesday, Feb. 9 following reports of a robbery that had just occurred.
Police learned a male suspect armed with a knife had entered the store, approached the counter, made demands of the store clerk, and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money and store merchandise.
The investigation now involves members of the TPBS Break and Enter and Robbery (BEAR) Unit.
As a result of ongoing investigation, police obtained surveillance footage that shows the accused at the time of the incident. Images from the obtained footage are now being distributed in hopes the public can assist in identifying the accused.
