Police have arrested a suspect after a business was robbed at knife-point earlier this month.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers responded a business on the 800 block of Red River Road on the evening of Sunday, August 11, after receiving reports of a robbery.
A male suspect entered the restaurant brandishing a knife and demanded money from staff. The suspect fled the scene.
The Break and Enter and Robbery (BEAR) Unit became involved in the investigation.
A suspect was identified and located on Thursday, August 29. The suspect was arrested and taken into custody.
Gauge Jerry Glenn SCOTT, 20, of Thunder Bay, is charged with the following offences:
- Robbery
- Disguise with Intent
- Breach of Probation
- Breach of Release Order
The accused appeared in court on Friday and has been remanded into custody with a future appearance date.
