Police have arrested a suspect after a business was robbed at knife-point earlier this year.

Thunder Bay Police Service officers had been dispatched to a business on the 3100 block of Arthur Street West in Oliver Paipoonge just before midnight on April 22 after receiving reports of a robbery.

A male suspect had entered the business, brandished a knife towards a staff member, and stole an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing.

The continued investigation by the Break and Enter and Robbery (BEAR) Unit led to the identification of a suspect.

The suspect was located and arrested on Thursday, July 18.

Aaron Michael Edward DUCHARME, 35, of Thunder Bay, is charged with Robbery and Disguise with Intent.

The accused appeared in court on Friday and has been remanded into custody with a future appearance date.
