Thunder Bay Police Service officers responded to an apparent abandoned 911 call at a Limbrick Street residence at about 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2019.
When responding officers entered the residence to check on the safety of the occupants they observed two males near a toilet where a large amount of a white powdery substance was on the bathroom floor and around the toilet bowl. Plastic bags were also observed to be in the toilet bowl.
The Thunder Bay Police Service’s drug unit later executed a warrant to search the residence. As a result of that search police located a quantity of prescription pills, suspected cocaine and suspected Fentanyl.
A grocery bag and duffle bags of currency were also located and seized.
A male arrived at the residence during the police search. He was arrested and charged for possession for the purpose of trafficking.
As a result of the ongoing investigation a total of eight people have been arrested and charged.
Sandra Lynn BORG, 44, of Thunder Bay, Javon Shantone BRYCE, 24, of Sudbury, Lenworth Decosta FRANCIS, 23, of Toronto, Bernard J GOLIBOSKI, 47, of Thunder Bay, Renee Jennie GRAVES, 27, of Thunder Bay, Marlon Mahabier MARAGH, 39, of Orleans, Ont., Michael MILLER, 41, of Toronto, Doris Jean SLIPPERJACK, 29, of Thunder Bay, are all charged with Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for Purpose of Trafficking x 3 and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000.
MILLER and MARAGH are both also charged with Obstruct Peace Officer
GRAVES is also charged with Probation Order Non-Compliance.
Police have confirmed that MILLER, MARAGH and BRYCE are members of a Toronto area gang.
All eight accused appeared in court Wednesday and were remanded into custody with future court dates.
