The Thunder Bay Police Service is looking to identify the victim of a recent assault captured on video and shared on social media.
The incident took place around 2 a.m. on Saturday, May 30 in the Current River area.
A lone male victim was walking when he was followed closely from behind by a youth female accused. The accused then struck the victim before fleeing on foot.
A video of the incident, which was recorded by witnesses known to the accused, was later circulated on social media. The victim was not known to the accused or the witnesses recording the incident.
Police have identified the accused and witnesses and investigators are now asking for the victim to come forward.
