Parade of Lights en route for another season

The Parade of Lights will shine again. 

Members of the Parade Committee held a special news conference Tuesday morning to highlight some of the key details of this year’s upcoming holiday event. 

The Parade committee introduced Logan Goldberg, a 14 year old Grade 9 student at St Patrick High School, as the 2019 Parade of Lights Parade Marshall. As the Parade Logan will be representing the Thunder Bay Therapeutic Riding Association. 

Donations are being accepted through the gofundme: www.gofundme.com/parade-of-lights-thunder-bay.

This is a perfect opportunity to help reach the ultimate goal of raising $40,000 for these very worthwhile local charities.This campaign will celebrate the generosity and giving spirit of Thunder Bay.   

“We are confident that the citizens of Thunder Bay will help us reach our goal,” said Cst. Greg Stephenson, Thunder Bay Police Association and parade committee chair. 

Donations are also being collected by participating individuals and organizations in the parade as well as benefiting local charities will have volunteers walking the parade route to collect donation of cash and cheques.  

No food donations will be collected by volunteers.
