The public is asked to avoid the 200-block area of Norah Street North as police are currently involved in a standoff situation at a residential address.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers were dispatched to a reported weapons call involving a possible firearm just before 5 p.m. on Friday, July 30.
Barricades have been erected at the intersections of Norah and Cumming Streets and Norah and Miles Streets. For the safety of area residents and officers, the public is asked to avoid this area until further notice.
