The Thunder Bay Police Service’s Intelligence and K9 Units have located more narcotics and cash linked to an investigation that focused on a Brent Street home.

Police arrested six people after executing search warrant at a home in the zero-to-100 block of Brent Street at about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30. In addition to the six arrests, police located and seized more than $10,000 in Canadian currency, cocaine, crack cocaine and a substance believed to be fentanyl.

The cocaine seized had an estimated street value of $9,600, the crack cocaine an estimated street value of $7,000, and the fentanyl an estimated street value of $56,000.

The ongoing investigation also identified a vehicle, which was searched with assistance from the Thunder Bay Police Service’s K9 Unit on Friday, Nov. 1.

As a result of this search police seized an additional $26,000 CAD and a quantity of cocaine with an estimated street value of more than $61,000.

The investigation remains ongoing.

Six arrested following drug warrant execution

Thunder Bay Police Service officers have arrested six people, including three people from southern Ontario, following the recent search of a Brent Street home.

Officers were dispatched to the home in the zero-to-100 block of Brent Street at about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30 to execute a search warrant at that location.

The search warrant was obtained following an ongoing investigation into drug activity by officers from the service’s Intelligence Branch. Members of the Emergency Task Unit were on hand to help execute the search warrant.

When officers entered the residence they located eight occupants. Six of those occupants were arrested by police and transported to the Thunder Bay Police Service headquarters at 1200 Balmoral Street.

A search of the residence led to the seizure of more than $10,000CAD, cocaine, crack cocaine and a substance believed to be fentanyl.

Marcel Rene ALLAN, 41, of Thunder Bay is charged with:

Alexander AMADI, 26, of Brampton, Ont., is charged with:

• Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000\

Mohammed BELAL, 26, of Toronto is charged with:
• Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
• Probation Order Non-Compliance

Serena Anttila Sandra BRADLEY, 36 is charged with:
• Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000

Boris Ruti KALEKE, 25, of London, Ont., is charged with:
• Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking

• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000

Zoe Cheryl PAJAMAKI, 21, of Thunder Bay, is charged with:
• Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000

All accused appeared in court Thursday and were remanded into custody with future appearance dates.
