Police have arrested a 26-year-old man following a child pornography investigation.
The Thunder Bay Police Service's Cyber Crime Unit began an investigation in June 2024 after receiving information that a local internet user was suspected of downloading child pornography.
The investigation resulted in a warrant being executed at a Norah Street home last month. As a result, a suspect turned himself in to police and was arrested earlier this month.
Nicholas TESSIER, 26, of Thunder Bay, is charged with Possession of Child Pornography, Accessing Child Pornography, and Distributing Child Pornography.
The accused appeared in court and was remanded into custody with a future appearance date.
