TBPS Uniform Patrol, Thunder Bay Fire & Rescue along with Superior North EMS responded to a single motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Balsam Street and Edith Avenue last night at 9:48 p.m.
The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle, a 24-year-old Gorham Township resident, was transported to hospital for treatment of injuries sustained when her vehicle collided with culvert on Balsam Street. Investigating officers charged the woman with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle. She has been released on an Undertaking with a court date of August 21, 2020.
The rental car driven by the accused in the collision sustained major damage. The woman’s injuries were non-life threatening.
