Police have arrested a Richmond Hill man who was violating a court order not to be in Thunder Bay.
At about 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29, officers were at the Midtown Inn executing a search warrant on a number of hotel rooms when they observed a male known to them who was in violation of a recognizance.
The male fled from police, but was quickly pursued and arrested. The arrest was completed after a brief struggle.
Following the arrest, police found the male to be in possession of a concealed knife.
Alexander Aaron ABRAMOVICH, 18, of Richmond Hill, is charged with Resisting Peace Officer, Carrying a Concealed Weapon and Failure to Comply with Undertaking.
