Four Toronto residents arrested, $110K in drugs seized

Police arrested five people and seized a significant quantity of cocaine, fentanyl and crystal methamphetamine after searching a Vickers Street home Thursday.

Members of the Emergency Task and Intelligence Units executed a search warrant at a residential address in the 200 block of Vickers Street at 3:20 p.m. on Thursday, March 2. The warrant was obtained as a result of an ongoing investigation into drug trafficking activity at that location.

Once inside, police located and arrested five suspects. Four of those suspects were residents of Toronto.

A search of the home led to the seizure of a significant quantity of suspected cocaine, crack cocaine, fentanyl, crystal methamphetamine, paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking and cash.

Cash seized is believed to exceed $5,000.

The estimated street value of drugs seized exceed $110,000 CAD.

All suspects were transported to the TPBS headquarters at 1200 Balmoral Street.

Benjamin Joshua BOACHIE, 30, of Toronto, is charged with:

• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
• Possession of Identity Document

Joseph Eleazar BOACHIE, 27, of Toronto, is charged with:

• Possession of Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
• Possession of Identity Document

Samuel Sebastiao ELVIRA, 29, of Toronto, is charged with:

• Possession of Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
• Possession of Identity Document
• Faily to Comply with Probation Order

Renee Helen Violet SINGLETON, 37, of Thunder Bay, is charged with:

• Possession of Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000

Andrel Tenneyson VELVET, 29, of Toronto, is charged with:

• Possession of Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000

All five appeared in bail court on Friday, March 3 and were remanded into custody with future appearance dates.
