Police have identified and charged a driver who collided with a parked vehicle and took off from the scene.
The Thunder Bay Police Service Traffic Unit began investigating after receiving information about an incident that had occurred in the parking lot of a business in the 400 block of Hodder Avenue on the evening of Saturday, March 29.
Video posted to social media that was also provided to police showed a grey pickup truck colliding with a parked vehicle. As a result of that video, investigators were able to identify a suspect.
A 45-year-old male is charged with Failure to Stop After an Accident, along with Highway Traffic Act offences.
The accused was released on an undertaking with a future court appearance date.
