A fire at a south-side multi-unit residential building earlier this week has resulted in an arson charge.
Emergency services responded to the 1100 block of Lincoln Street on the morning of Tuesday, June 11, after receiving reports of a structural fire.
The fire is being investigated as suspected arson. Members of the Major Crime Unit became involved in the ongoing investigation.
As a result of the investigation, a suspect was identified. The suspect was located and arrested on Wednesday, June 12.
Danielle Furness GUIGUET, 40, of Thunder Bay, is charged with Arson – Disregard for Human Life and Breach of Probation.
GUIGUET appeared in court on Thursday, June 13, and was remanded into custody with a future appearance date.
